1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the WoodworkingGuys website (woodworkingguys.com) or placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Products & Custom Orders

All products sold by WoodworkingGuys are handcrafted from solid domestic hardwood. Due to the natural characteristics of wood, there may be slight variations in color, grain, and texture between pieces — this is a feature, not a defect.

For custom orders:

  • All custom pieces are made to order based on specifications you provide
  • We will confirm your specifications before beginning production
  • Minor natural variations in wood grain, color, and figure are expected and not grounds for return
  • Dimensions may vary by up to ¼ inch from specified measurements

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD). We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. The price you are charged is the price displayed at the time of your order or, for custom orders, the price confirmed in your quote.

For custom orders, we require a 50% deposit before production begins. The remaining 50% is due upon completion, before shipment. We accept all major credit cards and PayPal through our secure payment processor, Stripe.

4. Order Cancellations

For standard products: Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement for a full refund.

For custom orders: Once production has begun (after deposit is paid and confirmed), cancellations are not accepted. If you cancel before production begins, your deposit will be refunded in full.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • We ship to all 50 contiguous United States
  • Estimated production times are provided at the time of order and are approximations, not guarantees
  • Shipping times are in addition to production times
  • Risk of loss and title for products passes to you upon delivery to the carrier
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier
  • Freight shipments require someone to be present at delivery; missed delivery fees are the customer’s responsibility

6. Returns & Refunds

Standard products: We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for unused items in original condition. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Refunds are issued within 5–7 business days of receiving the returned item.

Custom orders: Custom pieces are non-returnable unless they contain a defect or do not match the approved specifications. If your piece does not match the approved specs, we will repair or replace it at no charge.

Damaged in shipping: If your order arrives damaged, please photograph the damage and contact us within 48 hours of delivery at hello@woodworkingguys.com. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.

7. Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind every piece we build. If your custom order does not match the approved design specifications, we will fix it or rebuild it at no additional cost. This guarantee does not apply to changes in preference after production has begun or to natural wood characteristics.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on woodworkingguys.com, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the property of WoodworkingGuys and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WoodworkingGuys shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to your use of our products or website. Our total liability for any claim arising from a product or order shall not exceed the amount you paid for that product.

10. Wood Care & Maintenance

Solid hardwood products require proper care to maintain their appearance and longevity. By purchasing from us, you acknowledge that you have reviewed our Care & Maintenance Guide and understand that improper care (including dishwasher use, prolonged water exposure, or improper oiling) can damage the product and will void any warranty or satisfaction guarantee.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be resolved in the courts of Michigan.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
